Virden Wind is a utility-scale renewable energy project in Central Illinois. It will generate 100 megawatts of electricity from wind power, helping to meet growing consumer demand for energy. Once complete, Virden Wind will spur economic growth to Montgomery County and Illinois, bringing short and long-term job creation and additional tax revenue to local taxing bodies and critical community services.
UKA is committed to collaborating with the communities to develop, construct, own, and operate clean energy projects in Illinois and across the U.S.
